Is QuickPDF free?
Yes. Every core tool is free and supported by ads, and AI chat includes a few questions a day. Premium is optional — it removes the ads, lifts the AI limit and unlocks the premium tools.
Do my files get uploaded?
Mostly not. Scanning, OCR, signing, merging, splitting, compressing, rotating, watermarking and image conversion all run on your device, so the file never leaves it. Three things do need our server: AI chat, Word/Excel conversion, and the PDF text editor.
Does it work offline?
The on-device tools do — you can scan, sign, merge and compress with no connection at all. AI chat and Office conversion need one.
Which phones does it run on?
iPhone and iPad on iOS 13 or later, and Android phones and tablets. The app is the same on both.
Do I need an account?
No. Install it and start working. An account only comes into it if you subscribe to Premium and want it restored on another device.
Is this the same as QuickPDF on the web?
Yes — same team, same tools. The website is QuickPDF and the app is listed in both stores as QuickPDF. Use whichever is closer to hand; the web tools need no install and no sign-up either.
